Thanks to HEKLA for putting up with me in Berlin earlier this year and to Jon Savage, Matt Sewell, DrumTalk & Antony July Skies. Thanks also to Test Pressing. The Vinyl Factory & the other blogs who are enjoying what we are doing and spreading the word.
Here's a last word for 2017 from the redoubtable Dr Rob and his gleaming Ban Ban Ton Ton blog - More exciting releases lined up for 2018 - more news later on these. We'll keep exploring as long as you're listening ... Thanks xxx
HEKLA - Doom-Pop from Berlin ! The debut album on Caroline True Records has been very well received and the band play a Stockholm Sweden show on Thursday April 6th - plenty of advance warning to add to the diary! Go along-the Berlin show last weekend was red-hot.
Here at Caroline True Records we're very excited to bring you the debut album from Berlin based German-Swedish-Australian act HEKLA! Limited to 300 vinyl copies (& unlimited download) their self-styled Doom-pop takes in many shades, from the Shangri Las and Aerial Pink to Joy Division and Psychedelia.

For lovers of the Durutti Column, Dream-Pop and Eno & more..and just lovers..
Forthcoming on Caroline True Records & following the much acclaimed Matt Sewell Gayatari Mantra 12" (Record of the year 2016 lists - Test Pressing & Vinyl Factory ) comes something a little different but almost equally as blissfully downbeat-July Skies-The English Cold (Limited Vinyl Edition )
Next up ! July Skies "The English Cold" on limited heavyweight vinyl on Caroline True Records. The original 2004 CD release on Make Mine Music was lauded as "One of the lushest albums you hear all year" by Opus Magazine. It certainly sounds a lost classic through the lens of 2016 . The release (300 only) will be on heavyweight vinyl & feature a digital download card with full colour artwork and liner notes by Alistair Fitchett. More news soon !
